Spin Master revealed it will produce a third PAW Patrol feature film.
The upcoming film will be a Spin Master Entertainment production in association with Nickelodeon Movies, and is slated for exclusive theatrical release in 2026.
PAW Patrol: The Movie, the franchise’s first feature film, was released in 2021, grossing more than $40 million domestically and more than $144 million globally.
The new film’s announcement comes just days before the premiere of the second PAW Patrol film, PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, which comes to theaters Sept. 29. PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie features voice performances by Taraji P. Henson, Kristen Bell, James Marsden, Chris Rock, Serena Williams, and Kim Kardashian, among others.
“PAW Patrol has entertained generations of preschoolers while subtly teaching them the value of community, inclusiveness, and teamwork,” says Spin Master Entertainment President Jennifer Dodge. “On the cusp of the premiere of our second, super-powered film, the universal love for our pups is stronger than ever.”
Dodge adds of the just-announced third film: “Featuring action-packed missions and exploring new terrains, this movie will be larger-than-life and once again show how small paws can make big prints.”
“PAW Patrol remains in a class of its own as a beloved and recognizable cultural touchstone for kids and families everywhere,” says President of Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation Ramsey Naito.
Animation Director Cal Brunker, whose work includes the first two PAW Patrol films and Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature, will return to direct the newest installment of the PAW Patrol franchise.
