IDW Publishing, Paramount Renew TMNT Comics Partnership Ahead of TMNT 40th Anniversary\xa0

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (TMNT) franchise, created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year. As the celebration approaches, IDW Publishing and Paramount Global have signed a full renewal of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book contract.

The partnership extension will result in new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic books and graphic novels. New information, like comic book titles and ways to celebrate the 40th anniversary of TMNT in comic shops and online, will be released throughout the year.\xa0

“After 40 years, there are still so many more stories to be told, and we can’t wait for everyone to see what’s next,” says Lourdes Arocho, Senior Vice President, Licensing & Publishing, Consumer Products, Paramount.

On March 6, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin II — Re-Evolution will be available in comic shops. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series will also approach the milestone 150th issue, and the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Saturday Morning Adventures — inspired by the 1987 cartoon series — will continue.
